Shores at Waikoloa Beach Resort 315

This is a fabulous resort! Everything was top notch, and the service was impeccable. We very much enjoyed our stay here. The pools were delightful, and the grounds are meticulously maintained. There was a fridge in the room which was soooo helpful. The lanai is lovely and made for sweet mornings! Loved our room, the shop, the cafe, and restaurant. It was all done so well!

Went for our anniversary. First time visiting Hawaii. Things I liked. Views were tremendous. Pool area was ample well maintained and quiet. Golf adjacent to the property. Our room was clean and comfortable. Guest services were always helpful during our visit. Things you may not like. The rooms could use some cosmetic updates. This is on the big island and most things on the big island will require a car to get to. Dining is expensive however the Queens market a short walk away provides options. Lastly and not specific to the resort, the big island is covered in volcanic rock, do not expect to be in the center of a tropical rain forest. I would stay there again. My wife prefers Oahu or Maui.

Stayed as kamaaina for Valentine’s Day this year of 2025 and had expectations due to the cost…room was very dated. Booked a king suite for my partner and I ended up in a double queen…not very romantic. Had to walk about 3 miles + round trip to get to our room and get our bags. The mini fridge in the room was completely broken we had to lug ice back and forth to keep our drinks cool. The tub/shower wouldn’t drain and we found hair in the tub that was not ours. The one adult only pool available was across the resort from our room, small and in the center of multiple rooms making it feel like we were being watched by others staying. Spent $150 on room service for 2 small pizzas because we literally did not want to walk 3 miles for dinner. View from our room was beautiful but we will not be returning due to the lack of quality adult only areas, crowded areas and major need for updates/renovations.
