SHotel

After a long journey from the Aussie countryside to the south of Italy, we stumbled upon this gem of a hotel just before midnight. No booking, no worries. The friendly receptionist greeted us with a warm smile and got us checked in within minutes, handing over the keys to a lovely queen room. The room was spotless and spacious, and the modern shower felt like heaven after such a long trip. Next morning’s breakfast was an absolute treat, everything from scrambled eggs to antipasto and freshly baked croissants. And the cappuccino? Exactly what you’d hope for in Italy, perfect! Even though it was just a unplanned stop, the wonderful reception and breakfast staff made us feel right at home.

Breakfast and dinner was excellent during our 2 night stay. If you are staying at the hotel, remember to bring your own facial tissue as they don't provide it.

First stay so difficult to do a comprehensive review. Rooms are modern and clean. Well turned out with a bit of an Italian flair. Air con in the room excellent. The hotel has a gym which I am yet to investigate but I would predict it will be fine. A niggle- no kettle in the room but I recognise the love of a kettle for a decent cup of tea is a British thing. Location is somewhat bemusing- next to a main road interchange in an industrial estate. However - it is quiet and very easy to travel to / from. It has a restaurant and bar attached that looks pleasant. Reviewed as 3 only due to location. If you are not bothered by an evening stroll then it rates a 4.
