Hidden gem… well, maybe not a gem, but surely-semi precious stone of Saint-Petersburg. Adequate personnel, mostly clean rooms and comfy beds, good prices. The biggest con is thin walls, so you’ll be able to hear your neighbors phone.
I did like the rooms, we had a twin room which was decent enough. The receptionist was really kind enough to change one of our rooms as it did not have a window (we paid for the upgrade). The breakfast spread isn't that great, but it was OK. The location is also pretty OK, just one thing to remember that there isn't any restaurant in this hotel, but there are quite a few nearby.
The rooms are small, the beds are terrible and the staff doesn’t know that much english. The food is not good and the breakfast buffet is the same everyday. The location is quiet though. To say there is house cleaning is not correct as all they do is add some soap and clean the washroom and vacuum the room. But you will have to ask them to change the bedsheets. This is not a 4* even.
