Hard to say anything negative about this place. The service was kind, the rooms were immaculate and well lit, it was clean and the buffet was a treat. We used the private bathrooms which were free reservation (you just find one that’s free and lock it for 30 minutes). Overall a very relaxing place to spend a day & night.
Had a 2 night stay here with the family in early March. Staff welcomed us as soon as we pulled into the entrance. The no shoe policy makes the hotel super clean. It's slightly dated especially the kids playing area/toys but our kids still enjoyed it. The 7 private onsens were great as well, never had to wait longer than 10min for one. The buffet dinner and breakfast had quite a variety of food. Also can't beat the free ramen at night. Overall great stay and kids enjoyed it thoroughly.
It was fantastic experience. We enjoyed everything, the place, the staff, the nature around - all was great. You can get to hotel by bus from Shunzenji station or take a 25 min stroll. Place is not touristy. All kinds of onsens - public and private were truly great. I have read complaints about food in this place, but in my opinion breakfast and dinner buffets had wide variety of food. Free ice cream and massage chairs made our stay more than perfect.
