Silkari Lagoons Port Douglas

We had an amazing 7-night stay and absolutely loved every moment! The staff was super friendly and the room was so cozy and self-contained. We found the warm pool and the beach was just a stone’s throw away. I highly recommend renting a car, though. The walk to the main shops is beautiful, but it’s quite a long one, especially with kids. Overall, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind with a young family.

Comfortable apartment with functional kitchen and we had the private plunge pool which was heated. Stayed 7 nights. Bathroom was a bit dated and there's no room turn down service. Great staff, very friendly and gave us some great tips for day trips and activities. You can walk 300m and find the beach. Went next door to the Ramada for a coffee one morning, reasonable but it took a while.

We stayed for 8 nights. Check in was easy and staff friendly. Apartment had to be aired when we arrived due very strong odour from the cleaning products. Beds were very comfortable, pillows were great! Kitchen was poorly equipped, could have done with a few more cooking utensils and containers, which made it difficult for us to cook meals for the little ones. BBQ area was good, which we used on a couple of occasions. Pool was heated but cleaning regime could be improved. We ended up using the pools at Ramada next door. Overall a comfortable stay.
