Silken Platja D'aro

Beautiful, newer hotel with a great location. Very calm (we didn’t have rooms with the pool view), great for a short relaxing stay. Special thank you to Jenny at the reception who helped us with all minor inconveniences!

The hotel is very clean, recently renovated. Rooms are on the smaller side, although the bathroom block is enormous, I'd prefer the rooms to be bigger. WiFi is atrocious, less than a megabit per second. Service is friendly. Breakfast had very good variety and was a great value for money.

The staff were nice and welcoming. I love the location of the hotel, its about 5 mins to the beach by walking and in close proximity to shopping centres and loads of good quality restaurants. What i didn't enjoy about my stay was the bed which was really noisy and uncomfortable. The cleaners also did not change the bedsheets when they cleaned the room which was not a good look. Lastly, the breakfast options were just okay for breakfast. I liked the cakes the most. However, I wish they had the option of omelette eggs.
