Silks Place Taroko

Lovely, lovely Hotel with majestic views of the Taroko Gorge. We were so grateful to have been assigned to a room that had a magnificent view of the river and the Taroko gorge that just cannot be described. Service was top notch and the breakfast and dinner buffet spread was one of the finest we’ve had in Taiwan, especially comparing to the regent hotel, grand Hyatt and W hotel in Taipei! The facilities for kids were just amazing, we didn’t fully utilize as it was a romantic getaway for me and my husband. The pool and jacuzzi were gorgeous, overlooking the gorge. Last but not least, the availability of having washers and dryers were perfect for families with kids! We will be back! ❤️ Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

I’ve heard wonderful things about Silks Place Taroko for years and finally had the chance to visit. It was even better than I imagined. The service was truly exceptional. From the front desk to housekeeping, massage therapy, and every staff member we met, everyone was so kind and helpful. You can really feel that they care. What touched me the most happened at the buffet restaurant. My 3-year-old is quite picky and didn’t have much of an appetite. Two staff members(韋建忠+陳永潔） noticed and gently asked about his favorite foods. Then they surprised us by making a special omelet just for him. He actually ate it, and we were so moved by their thoughtfulness and creativity. This place isn’t just beautiful. It’s filled with heart. It absolutely lives up to its reputation and is worth every penny.

I have been to Taiwan over 50 times but mostly stuck in Taipei on business. Finally went my Taiwanese friend to explore this area. She told me this resort is very special and she was absolutely right! We really enjoyed our stay. The service was terrific. The weather was great. The people were super nice. We got the premium package Which was worth every penny
