Incredible hotel, with amazing views. The Point Ruston Area is the perfect location to relax and enjoy all the amenities of the Silver Cloud Hotel. The staff here are so hardworking and pay attention to every detail to make your stay perfect! Silver Cloud Hotel also gives back to local youth programs to keep them affordable for every child in the area.
This was a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. We stayed in the 5th floor, and our view was stunning. Beds were so comfortable!! Give TV!! Large bathroom. Nicest hotel I've stayed in ever! The rooms are so sound proof, I only heard 1 little kid rubbing down the hall the entire time we were there.
The worst front desk I have ever encountered. The woman who checked me in had a terrible attitude and was unhelpful. Extremely limited amenities when reviewed in comparison to similar waterfront hotels with comparable pricing. No room service. The pool area is very small. You can only park using their valet service, they do not have a parking lot. Their front desk cannot set up reservations for you, even for the restaurant inside the hotel. No complimentary snacks or drinks upon arrival. The elevator is dangerous-i watched it clip two different people closing the door. They both grabbed their shoulder, as if it hurt badly. Additionally, it is a key card operated elevator- but the key card system is very touchy and takes a while to actually work. It clearly frustrated other guests I met in the elevator as well. I was unable to locate the workout area during my visit, and there was no signage to indicate where it might be. Towels were scratchy. Tissues were scratchy. Shampoo and soap dried out my skin and hair like cheap shower products do, and the lotion/ conditioner did not help. The only reason for 3 stars is because the view from our room was wonderful, and the bed was plush and comfortable. The room itself was immaculate, aside from a spot on the wall where someone clearly sneezed and left behind quite a bit of gross....stuff. There was not a spot of dirt on or in any other location in the room or bathroom. That being said, having had the opportunity to stay in a lot of premium hotels... there are a lot of better options out there. I would not recommend this to anyone at the $400/ night price tag. If they were to adjust their prices to match the level of service received, I would change my review.
