SilverSide Holidays

We had a very comfortable stay at the Silverside Holidays family apartment. The quality of beds, equipment of rooms and delicious (+big) breakfast was amazing. Maria, our host took very good care of us. She even spotted that we forgot to close the window in our car and came to let us know. Thanks very much.

We arrived on a cold, wet and windy afternoon. We were given a warm welcome and shown to our room. The room was large, lovely and warm, spotlessly clean and well equipped, the bathroom was particularly nice. Breakfast was a good selection of food and drink. The accommodation is well situated between Foz de Arelho and Sao Martinho do Porto, both family friendly places. We really enjoyed our stay.

All in all alright, but just alright. Nothing fancy, rooms are basic but spacious enough. Cleaningness could be improved especially in the bathroom. A mini fridge is present in the room which was helpful, although it's super noisy. The internet was horrible, so for people who have to work I wouldn't count on it. We have sent a couple messages about the bad connexion that unfortunately stayed ignored. The breakfast starts from 9 till 11 am, so it's a long wait for early birds. We were told it was because of the croissants supplier.... The breakfast is very basic and not very diverse in my opinion (only hard boiled eggs, no omelette or scrambled eggs. bread, croissant, ham, salami, cheese, yogurt, and cornflakes). Parking is free and the pool on the spot seemed ok. We won't be coming back though.
