Overall, the hotel offers decent value for money, but it’s clearly showing its age. The rooms and furnishings are not quite up to the standard of other hotels in the same category. Room service during our stay was rather underwhelming — toilet paper was sometimes forgotten, towels were occasionally missing, and once the towels had a strong smell of smoke, so we had to request replacements. Breakfast focuses more on variety than on quality. It’s fine, but nothing special. The pool area, especially the one at the back, is very quiet and enjoyable. The location is excellent — everything can be reached easily on foot.
Stayed here for a few nights with a friend. Great location close to many of the popular restaurants in the strip. Service was kind and attentive throughout the resort. The rooms were clean and amenities provided were great. There were two beautiful pools that were well maintained. Breakfast buffet was yummy! Something to note is that during our stay there was constant construction on the site and also maintenance. While there wasn’t much we can do about it, it was hard to enjoy time at the hotel when all you can hear was grass being mowed for a few hours straight coupled with the construction noises. They did end around 5pm most days so the evenings were fine. If you’re planning to spend most of your day outside of the resort, this place would be perfect for you! However if you’re looking for more of a relaxing experience, perhaps find another hotel :) Special shoutout to Nasrul for being so kind and accommodating to my travel partner. She specifically mentioned how he was super kind and interesting and helped her navigate Kuta Lombok :) Overall would stay here again, probably once their construction is finished.
**Extremely Disappointing Stay – Avoid if You Can** I rarely leave reviews, but my stay at Sima Hotel was so unpleasant that I felt compelled to warn others. Upon checking in, I found the room in an unacceptable state. The bed had a large red stain on the sheets, along with smaller yellow ones—clearly not cleaned or changed. Pulling back the covers was honestly unsettling. Same with the towels which were stained and ripped. The room itself was dirty and felt like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in months. Benchtops were covered in crumbs and dried toothpaste, and the toilet seat had visible urine on it. The shower had grime buildup along all the edges, and the tiles, doors, and cornices were cracked and damaged throughout. To make matters worse, the hot water in the shower barely lasted five minutes. Breakfast was disappointing and not worth mentioning. For the high price, this place is an absolute rip-off. It’s also incredibly loud, with noise from nearby bars and restaurants making it hard to relax or get a good night’s sleep. The lack of soundproofing just added to the discomfort. I tried to check out and find another hotel, but unfortunately everything else was fully booked for the weekend. I genuinely felt unclean staying here. **Do yourself a favour: stay somewhere else. You’ll likely pay less and get a far better experience in a cleaner, quieter, more comfortable room.**
