Simm s Hotel the cityhotel next to Metro U3

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant and comfortable experience overall. The rooms are simple, clean, and well-maintained—perfect for a relaxing stay. The beds were comfortable, and all the basic amenities were available. The room layout was practical, offering enough space to move around without feeling cramped. Cleanliness was clearly a priority, as everything from the linens to the bathroom was spotless. One of the highlights of the stay was the service. The staff were polite, friendly, and always ready to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth and quick, making the overall experience even more convenient. The breakfast served was also quite good. It had a decent variety with fresh items, both hot and cold options, and enough choices to suit different tastes. It was a satisfying way to start the day, especially before heading out for sightseeing or work. Though the hotel doesn’t focus on luxury, it delivers exactly what it promises—clean rooms, good service, and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s ideal for solo travelers, couples, or even families looking for a decent place to stay without unnecessary extras. I’d definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it for a simple yet comfortable stay.

It's a good hotel. I recommend it bc it's near train and tram. So that means you can move easily. There is also a Lidl nearby. The room was small but clean. The breakfast was good but it was the same everyday.

We were in Vienna for 3 nights. The hotel is next to a metro station so it is really easy to come and go, however the location doesn't make it up for the rest, in my opinion. When we arrived we had three rooms booked, in one of them the smell was really bad to the point where we asked for a change which was granted rather easily. In the second, the A.C was out of order, it was around 26 degrees celsius, impossible to sleep there. We were given another room after 20 minutes of waiting. In the new room the A.C was pretty loud but it is not in our habits to ask to change rooms and it was better than before so we kept it. After that, our stay was pretty OK, breakfast was fine. The main issue we had was at the time of our departure. We asked for a taxi for 5 people, it was called by the reception and arrived pretty much on time but once arrived at the train station (10min in taxi) it asked for 50e! It hadn't started its clock so wasn't in the "real" taxi mode even though it had the sign. As it was called by the reception, it is clear that there is a link between the two. It was a very unpleasant surprise that we hope other people won't be submitted to.
