Simone's Shophouse Not a hotel

The room was simple, but clean and well equipped (AC, fridge, microwave, TV with eg. Netflix; shower gel, shampoo, hairdryer). There are two minimarts and a laundry service down the road. Lots of restaurants and attractions are easily accessible. The host was incredibly helpful, reaching out to ask if they could give us recommendations (and tailoring them to us), as well as reserving a more complicated bus journey for us (and checking to make sure we arrived ok). Checking in and out was very simple, the whole stay went very smoothly. Would be happy to stay again for sure!

Humble little guest house at affordable prices. The room was good for one person, although there was not much space for belongings. I lived out of a suitcase but there was room to hang a few clothes and there was a small desk to eat at. The bathroom was a nice size and water pressure was good. The hosts are lovely people and were very responsive when needed. But the best is definitely the location. It's in a quiet side street and with a room in the back, I was able to get very restful sleep every night. The AC was noisy but for the price it's still a good deal.

Convenient location. Good communication with host. Clean and it has all the basics you meed. Good curtains that make the room dark enough to sleep without the sunlight interrupting. Bed is also comfortable. The only thing that was missing is hair conditioner, but not even all luxurious hotels have it
