Simpson's Forest Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, customer service was exceptional, it was really outstanding to us as we had stayed in 2 other places before arriving here. We loved the deliciousness and the service provided by its staff and it made all our meal times a beautiful and unforgettable memory. Very serene nature of the place and the scenic view was amazing, we also had a very informative hiking session with Isuru.

Absolutely stunning resort with breathtaking views outstanding food and implacable service. Very much enjoyed our knowledgeable nature tour guide. But.....and I am saying this with a broken heart, as the location is truly magical.... There is a Mosque about 4 miles away...which finds it appropriate to blast its prayers twice a day ...the first AT 5 AM !!!! The second at 5PM , for 45 minutes every day. Yes..5 AM...full volume. Completely ruined my time at this stunning location. Maybe, if the hotel management let the guests know in advance, one could prepare and soften the blow of the piercing , screeching wailing, but sadly, not. So whilst I was hoping to go back there next year, I don't see myself putting myself through that experience again.

5 Stars – Absolutely Magical Stay! Simpson’s Forest is an absolute gem! From the peaceful location surrounded by lush greenery to the stunning infinity pool with valley views, everything about this place is incredible. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and offer breathtaking views right from the balcony. What really made our stay unforgettable was the amazing staff genuinely warm, attentive, and always ready to help. The food was delicious, with a great mix of local and international dishes (don’t miss the themed dinners under the stars!). If you’re looking for a luxurious, relaxing escape near Kandy, this resort is a must-visit. Already dreaming of coming back!
