Singtom Resort

Hi Singtom Tea Estate and Resort Team, Just wanted to drop a note about our recent stay in Singtom. We really enjoyed it. Thanks! ————- The view of the Kanchenjunga from the resort is amazing. That could be reason enough to stay at a place like this. The tea estate is massive and well-maintained. We visited in November. Had some great second flush Darjeeling tea of the season. The old bungalow is charming, but could use a bit of touch-up. The new rooms in the modern wings are nice with a direct view of the Kanchenjunga. The gardens are lovely and add to the overall vibe. All the people running the estate and the resort made the stay more pleasant. Had a good time overall. Looking forward to coming back.

Beautiful antique villa amidst tea estate and beautiful view of Kanchenjunga range. Second highlight was the food and hospitality. Every faculty is approachable and serve with a smile. We stayed there for more than 3 days and we enjoyed all the local food the kitchen provided. Our 8month old was very thankful of the baby friendly staff and food. While staying away from town is good, access is a challenge. Roads are narrow, broken and steep. We had to reserve at least 1hr for one way visit to Darjeeling town.

Great place to stay. If you’re looking for a scenic tea estate experience in Darjeeling, it is a recommended place. The place had breathtaking views to offer. The property will give you the vibe of colonial era with top notch hospitality, especially Ankur who had been a fantastic host. But one thing I didn’t appreciate was the price of food; too expensive for simple homely cooked food. Moreover if breakfast was complimentary with the room, it would have been perfect. Nonetheless, it was a wholesome experience.
