Sintra Marmòris Palace

We loved our stay here. The property is serene and beautiful, and the room was unique, comfortable and clean. Lara, Anna and a few others from the breakfast staff were amazing to our children and so helpful in accommodating our trip. We would love to visit again - will just note there is some inflexibility from upper management / ownership when it comes to emergency cancellations (as experienced by others on our trip), so please note based on your travel plans. I cannot speak highly enough of Marmòris. This property is truly exceptional and ranks among the finest hotels I have ever experienced. If you’re seeking a serene, luxurious retreat in the heart of Sintra, this is the place to stay. The rooms are exquisitely appointed and evoke a sense of refined elegance, making guests feel genuinely pampered. The property itself is breathtaking, with every detail thoughtfully curated. With a limited number of guests accommodated at any given time, the atmosphere is wonderfully private and tranquil—almost as if you have the entire estate to yourself. The staff are exceptionally attentive, and their commitment to personalized service and meticulous attention to detail is evident throughout the stay. Sintra Marmoris Palace was quiet, quaint and tucked away with beautiful grounds, flowers and fantastic views. We’d highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing, romantic atmosphere. Also, family friendly. Pool was a nice addition and the peacocks were enjoyable to watch. Nightly complimentary wine & cheese board, local music artists and a wonderful breakfast with amazing service. Staff were very accommodating and incredible people who made our stay so enjoyable. Easy walking distance to the historical center, restaurants, palaces and markets. Can’t say enough positive about this beautiful hotel.
