We recently stayed at the Sir Stamford Hotel at Circular Quay and absolutely loved it. The building is full of character—such a beautiful old heritage place with gorgeous antique-style furniture and lovely period details everywhere. It felt so warm, cosy and a little bit like stepping back in time (in the best way!). The staff were all super friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. I also really appreciated how close it was to the shops, restaurants, and the water—it’s such a great spot to explore the city.
Very welcoming and easy to check in - with secure parking directly under hotel for 24hrs per overnight stay and internal direct lift access - excellent! Room was huge which I love. Is old style so quite dimly lit but “marble” bathroom also a very large space with excellent shower and separate bath … and lots of mirrors…So quiet and fabulous location for my needs.
The room was nice with vintage furniture. The service and hospitality are excellent. The only thing we didn’t like is the breakfast. The location and the included free parking made the experience even more rewarding.
