Sirenis Tropical Varadero

My wife and I had a blast for the past 7 days and we had a blast. Our room was great, clean and comfortable. They left water bottles every day and juice. The staff were amazing! We became personal friends with many of them. The only down side was the food. It's just such a culture shock but the buffet had enough to choose from we were able to get buy. Over all the resort it's self 7/10. Food 2/10. Last the saff especially the bar tenders 11/10. Thank you all for everything. Sending love from matt and kelly

Food and people were wonderful! The reception staff were very helpful and friendly! Good beach. Elevators need a bit of loving. Pool was clean. Second time, at this resort & we will return! BIG THANK YOU, to Ivonne, the Sunwing rep, for all the incredible help! Brian & Cathy Cranton

First off the maids, bellhops and bar/buffet servers are amazing. The food was flavourful and though the meal selection was repetitive there was still a very decent variety. The beach was beautiful, clean and clear with free ocean activities. The rooms are slightly dated but had all the basics needed, can’t complain there. Our first night we got dropped off with 3 other couples and our check in was for 4pm, we were all told our rooms weren’t ready yet due to no clean sheets being available, we asked if we could leave our luggage in the rooms so we could at least change, was told no and didn’t have access to our rooms until 9pm. The night before our last day we came back sweaty from an all day excursion, it was 5pm and our room wouldn’t open. Went to reception for help and they gave us new room cards, room still wouldn’t open, asked for maintenance to help and was a hassle. The battery for the door was broken so they had us pack up and move rooms at 8:30pm, our room was also downgraded. The following morning they entered our room without knocking, walked around the room with a checklist, never acknowledging us then left. Upon checkout they charged us $15 for a pool towel that had gotten stolen off my chair when I went to get a drink at the bar the afternoon prior. As lovely as the staff and beach are, we will not be returning.
