First of all, we would like to thank our GEM Kumpheak, for all the help she provided throughout our stay at Six Senses Krabey Island. We have never experienced such exceptional service before, it was truly outstanding! From the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff to the beautiful infrastructure and delicious food, everything was world-class. We would highly recommend this hotel and Cambodia to all our friends so they can experience this wonderful country as well.
Amazing stay with my wife and baby daughter. The staff especially our guest manager Vechaka were exceptional. Nothing was too hard for them and made our stay a memorable and magical one. The food was amazing and could not recommend it enough. The villa we had always also amazing. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend it highly.
It is going to be hard to describe just how divine this hotel and it's fabulous team are. People talk about surprising and delighting the guest: Six Senses Krabey Island has redefined excellence in hospitality. Mr Ateeb (GM) has recruited a team as dedicated, interesting and interested as he. The island is run by a group of people living and breathing hospitality. The restaurant team don't only know your names, they remember you food orders, water preferences, wine choices (a special thanks to Coco). The housekeeping and grounds teams stop to say hello, good morning, ask how you are. By the end of a handful of days you know the names of probably 8/10 people and certainly they know yours! All villas are given a guest experience manager, a GEM -- and they truly are gems. Ours, Kumpheak, was incredible. By the end there were almost tears on the jetty. She brought us flowers, booked us experiences, spoke with her colleagues to pre-empt what we wanted before we did. Informative, not pushy, elegant, friendly. She made us feel like we were staying with incredible generous friends. There's so much on offer on the island: we swam at night in the ocean with luminous plankton, watched the sunset on a private terrace with champagne (thank you to Katna), saw monkeys play in the trees from our (private) infinity pool. Snorkled for hours, kayeked around the island, twice! Watched the stars, did yoga classes (thank you to Sherab), napped on the day beds and hammocks. A real highlight was that they have just invited Rinpoche a Lama, Monk, to spend a month on the island chatting with guests about Buddhist principles and offering conversations about impermanence, compassion, dharma. Honestly deep thinking stuff. The team and the spaced out setting of the rooms gave us time and privacy. There were activities when you wanted and silence when you wanted. It was the most relaxing, divine escape from reality.
