You have to check out Six Senses Southern Dunes in Saudi—it’s honestly one of the most amazing places I’ve ever stayed. It’s out in the desert near the Red Sea, super peaceful and totally beautiful. I stayed in one of the villas with a private pool, and it was surreal—waking up to those soft orange dunes, total quiet, just nature all around. The whole vibe is luxury but super grounded. They really care about sustainability too, like they grow a lot of their own food and use solar power for everything. The spa? Unreal. I did this desert-inspired massage and sat in this little open-air lounge with herbal tea after. And the food was fresh and healthy but still delicious—lots of local flavors with a modern twist. It’s the kind of place where you actually feel rested, you know? Like your body and brain finally slow down. If you’re ever planning a reset trip or want something totally different and peaceful, this is it.

From the moment we walked in, the experience was amazing, and what made it even better was Dominic. He shared the story behind their coffee beans, how they’re sourced from India, and that part of the profits go to charity. That added so much meaning to the visit. Since it’s mango season, we tried the mango canapé, it was insanely delicious. And the touch that really blew me away. Dominic gave me some of the coffee beans as a gift because I told him how much I loved them. That kind of gesture is rare and truly appreciated. A place I’d come back to a hundred times over.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ultra luxury escape at Six Senses Southern Dunes. Stayed 3 days with my kids during Eid holiday — super relaxing, peaceful, and exceeded expectations. The Saudi staff made the experience even more warm and special. Our 2-bedroom villa with private pool was spacious and well designed; pool could be slightly bigger but was still perfect for the kids. Food quality is excellent but options limited — kids menu is not always visible, you need to ask. Prices for food are on the high side, but considering the ultra luxury experience and attention to every detail, it’s reasonable and expected. Weather was very manageable even in summer (38°C noon, but no humidity; evenings are beautiful). Definitely planning to return soon — highly recommended for families looking for a luxury desert getaway.
