Skara Stadshotell

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in beautiful Skara. Weeks second hotel and oh my god the bed was comfortable! Felt like a dream compared to the last hotel. Room was quite small but only slept there anyway, so a good bed was all I needed. Food was delicious, and drinks were good aswell! Sadly forgot to take a pictures of the room, but found some lunch and dinner pictures! Tack 🫶🏼

It's easy to find the hotel, the door open automatically especially for handicapped person. The rum looks nice, but it close to the road, you hear all the noise from the street. They have shampoo and conditioner in the shower room. The carpet in the hotel looks really nice. They don't serve dinner, they recommended another hotel for dinner. It takes around 15 minutes to walk.

A beautiful, historic hotel that's been preserved and refurbished (not all the bathrooms) tastefully. Rooms were clean and fresh and the beds and pillows wonderfully comfortable. Service in the restaurant depended on who came to the table. The first person was unfriendly and unattentive. He didn't bring serviettes or cutlery to the table and seemed distracted. The second person was a delightful and very professional girl but any hotel dining experience needs to be far, far better. It is lacking in attention to detai and consistentl service. Breakfast is average. Unfortunately the hot food (bacon, sausages and scrambled eggs) were cold each morning. There's no hot plates, for some very strange reason. We were 5 people and had 2 rooms. They charged us extra per night for a bed although the sleepercouch was already in one of the rooms, so they didn't have to bring an extra bed in. Usually hotels charge extra if an extra bed has to be brought in. On top of that, no extra linen or pillows were provided for the couch and the 2 nights were spent sleeping uncomfortably with no bedding. This was very disappointing and does not agree with prices being extremely high.
