It was a pleasant hotel, perhaps a 10-15 minute walk from the town centre, conveniently located near the Černá hora cable car station and not far from Stezka korunami stromů. The room was nicely appointed and clean. While the balcony view wasn't spectacular, it provided a nice relaxing spot at the end of the day. The mini-fridge required several hours to reach its optimal cooling temperature, but once it did, it kept drinks cold. The breakfast buffet was quite good, offering a wide selection of food including salads, bread, cakes, and fruit. The staff were polite and accommodating.
Very nice hotel. Rooms was clean and big enough for us (couple). We had dinner at the hotel, there wasn't much options to choose from, but the food was good. The staff was amazing, really friendly and helpful. Breakfast deserves an extra star 😀. There was a lot of options on the buffet and everything we tried was really good. We were there on the off season.
Now this is a difficult one. The hotel itself is "fine", good location, the rooms are ok, it serves its purpose. BUT... The management of the hotel really needs to consider how they're running this business. There was a company event during our stay at the hotel. This event somehow "took over" the restaurant, meaning that the hotel guests could no longer use it for the rest of the week. It's fine for a hotel to host a company event, but it's absolutely unacceptable to screw ALL the hotel guests because of that event. "Oh what's that, you want to eat dinner? Figure it out, good luck finding a restaurant that's not fully booked!" Also, don't be fooled by the "marketing" photos, the "Wellness area" is extremely poor, the swimming pool has very cold water, and it is so ridiculously loud inside that room, that it is impossible to relax. PLEASE install some sound deadening panels, being in the swimming pool is like having someone shouting in your ears all the time. In summary, I'd recommend somewhere else. The hotel itself is fine, but the overall experience was very poor, and for a similar amount of money you can do a lot better.
