The person who left the one star review is crazy. This place isn’t bad at all. Oh I’m sorry they don’t have an Olympic size pool in downtown Ho Chi Minh for your synchronized swimming routine? You gota put this place in perspective, the huge value proposition is the location. The room is clean, smells clean, looks clean, the shower and bathroom area is totally closed off with opaque glass. Kind of a “Tarzan comes to the City” theme with furniture selection. I’ll never complain about a bed being too soft, aren’t beds supposed to be soft? Slept great. Elevator was quick. All these complaints I see in other reviews I either haven’t had the same experience or they’re just not true. The staff couldn’t be friendlier, they help you with your luggage. The front desk staff literally stand up when you walk by and the door man opens the door for you, and you’re leaving a 1 star review? Get a life. O yeah and the breakfast was decent, had these little noodle rolls I’ve never tried and something different from mango, Lemon Peach Juice, refreshing.

We stayed at det 1st floor and all but one of the rooms reeked of mold. We started in room 103, but had to change rooms as the smell of mold gave us a headache. The staff quickly gave us another room while saying that room 103 always smells like that 🤢102 was a bit better, but not by much. We only stayed for a day, so we didn’t push for a new room again. I fell asleep covering my nose with my t-shirt to dull the smell. The shower head was filled with black dirt, the toilet was not cleaned and the room was generally really dirty. I would never recommend this hotel to anybody. We feel sorry for the staff that works there as it must be really embarrassing for them to continue working and representing the hotel. They tried to be helpful, but because of the poor standard, there was nothing they could do.

I was not very impressed with this hotel and I don't believe it meets 5 or 4-star standards. We booked this hotel primarily for its central location and 5-star rating, but unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations. The room floorboards were loose with large gaps full of dirt. The provided (used) slippers are likely necessary because walking barefoot on the floors will get your feet dirty. There was hair behind the door and in the corners of the room, and the towels and bedding all had what looked like dirt stains even though they were supposedly clean. The shower barely drained, nearly flooding the room, even after notifying the staff it was barely improved. It sounded like the room had open windows due to the amount of street noise, even though all windows were closed. The stairs were scary, dirty, and poorly lit. The included breakfast was very limited, and I only went once during my stay. The rooftop pool was so small that I didn't bother using it. I would have canceled and gone elsewhere, but there weren't many other options due to staying during Tet. The only positive things I can say about this hotel are its friendly staff, central location, and the large size of the room. If this was a 3-star hotel I could rate it a bit better. But the main issue for me was the cleanliness.
