SkyBeach Resort

I am extremely picky when it comes to hotels. However, I was very impressed staying here. Considering the rate, this hotel far exceeded my expectations. The rooms are slightly outdated... but what do you expect for this rate! The rooms were very clean, the linens were great. Food at the restaurant was great and fairly priced, the service a tad slow. The heated pool was great as was the hot tub. Front desk promptly delivered towels on my request. An additional hot tub would be a great addition to this pool. The other seemed to be quite full. This is a great hotel overall, there beach is not the best, but for the rate you really do get your money's worth. They also have bike and ski do rentals which was nice!

The pools, beach and view are great. However the room was not clean. I found items from previous guests in my room. I watched a cleaning lady sweep everything out of a room onto the walk way while she was eating her pretzels. For the price we paid the room should have been clean. The chairs in the room were so dirty. Dressers, headboards we're not wiped down, I could see the dust on it. With COVID this should be a focus. I understand your under staffed however I seen 4 different cleaning ladies on my side where I was staying. I feel the management needs to check behind them for the price guest are paying. There are no microwaves in the rooms. Being a clean hotel should be your main focus. I would not recommend this hotel because they don't clean rooms.

Really loved the pools. The landscape was nice. The quiet beach was nice to lay on, but I wouldn't swim in it since there are sting rays (no signs). You also had to bring your own lounge equipment from the pool to the beach. The rooms... very clean and very nice cleaning staff. The rooms are not updated at all. Beds were hard (I personally like that, but not everyone does). The lock was broken on my door. It was held together by Styrofoam. You could see light coming in from the door. You could also hear everything that was said from the room next to us. The walls were very thin. The fridge didn't work so well, and we lost all of our food. Definitely not worth the price.
