We arrived at 930 am ( way ahead of check in. Had the breakfast buffet which was so so. We were up graded to a very very nice room. Great mattress and pillows. We went to the dining room for dinner, what a surprise. The best bacon cheeseburger I’ve had in years. Our server Brian took great care of of us. The dinner was quite delicious. This hotel is a sleeper. I was quite impressed 🏖️
We are lifetime titanium members. When we found out our flight was canceled we got on the app & booked a room for 7/12-7/13 with the complimentary late check out. We called twice the evening of 7/12 to let them know we would be arriving by cruise ship on the morning of 7/13 checking in at 7 am. We were assured no issues. We arrived on 7/13 at 7:05 am. No room. They oversold by 5 rooms. We were told we would have to wait. (Room cost $321.00 for a room they don’t have available with app confirmation). The reason we booked the room for the night in advance (7/12) was so we wouldn’t have to sit & wait on 7/13. Not what I expected with lifetime titanium. Do better !! Edit : checked in @ 8:15 am. Called back down to confirm the titanium perk of 4 pm check out before going to sleep. Even though it was noted on app at check in & we told two different check in people. I was told it was updated on reservation. Was asleep & at 12:00 pm knocking on my door (housekeeping) wanting to know when we were checking out & I said 4:00. I said front desk made the notation. I was told to call the front desk because they were not aware. So I called the front desk again to get it updated. So 3 phone calls to the front desk within 12 hours & none of the representatives followed through with the requests. Again, we expect better ! Edit: 7/14 After returning home I called & spoke to Brittany (manager) who was very apologetic & helpful. Super happy with the resolution.
For an airport hotel, you'd think they'd be more accommodating to red-eye flyers. Instead, we called several times to request a late checkout so we could actually sleep somewhere after our all-night flights. They said ask the clerk when we get there. So we did, and she said just call in the morning to request a late checkout. Ummm the whole point was so we could sleep late, not set alarms to wake up and request a late checkout. So we just slept a few hours and checked out at the required 11am. Then at 11, we checked out and asked for a shuttle to the airport so we could rent a car. Shuttle will be here at 11:30. So we had to sit in the lobby and wait for half an hour. We would love some coffee, but guess what they DON'T offer... This was an expensive stay and we got very little sleep, were forced to check out and then sit in the lobby and wait over half an hour for the shuttle, and no other amenities were provided. We will certainly not be back.
