Sleepy Hollow Cabins and Hotel

Sleepy Hollow Inn has tons of potential. If the owner of the property would take a little bit more time to manage the property better this place would be amazing. They need to talk to their house cleaning crew. They are not doing their job and that also falls on the owners too. The owners are not making sure the jobs are being done right. They need to maintain the inside of the cabins, hotel and the outside surrounding areas of the property better.When I say maintain I mean trash and cleanness of the property and the other issues people have complained about.Our room was super cute, we didn't mind the older furniture or how it looked but it was not cleaned. There were stains on the bedding, the floors have not been swept and the carpet was not vacuumed at all. I do understand that this place is old and things are going to be older, that's what I like about this place. I can only hope management would take concerns a little more seriously and do something about the concerns they are receiving. If they do and I really hope they do, Sleepy hollow Inn can be a really amazing place to stay.

❌ DO NOT STAY HERE – Sleepy Hollow Cabins & Hotel I TRIED to stay here in early June and I still can't let it go of how awful this place is. If you care about basic cleanliness, professionalism, and safety, this place is a nightmare. 🚪 Wrong Room Key They gave me the wrong room key, and I walked into a room already occupied by another family. Imagine the risk—someone could’ve easily stolen something. Thankfully, I’m honest, but this is a serious breach of privacy and security. 🛏️ Dirty Room & False Claims After switching rooms multiple times, I finally got to one where I found someone else's hair and eyelashes in the pillows. They insisted the sheets were brand new. Clearly, they weren’t. It was disgusting and unacceptable. 👶 Insensitive & Unethical Behavior When I raised concerns, they called me “sensitive” and canceled my reservation—while I was traveling with a toddler. That’s not just unprofessional, it’s heartless. 💨 Smelly Office & Rude Staff The office smelled awful, and the staff—including the manager—were unethical, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. ⚠️ Public Warning If you think someone else's hair in your pillow or a dirty room is not okay, DO NOT BOOK HERE. This place is a health hazard, and the staff clearly don’t care.

The trash bin outside my room was over filled for a long time. If we didn't ask to clean it they probably would've left it there. Their shower heads are extremely low height and the shower knob/handle requires an immense amount of strength to pull outward in order for you to use. It's like they're mocking people and taking them as a joke thinking they're going to pay anyways so let's just take shortcuts and the cheapest route possible. My friends pillow covers were covered with stains which was more than likely not washed. Our coffee machine drip cup was really dusty and dirty. I had to clean the toilet myself. The refrigerator has no space to use for food storage you can barely fit a notebook in there. Our towels were not refreshed even though we were going to stay there for 2-3 days. The AC/Heating unit is filled with dust and debris has been neglected for years and never been serviced. The room was mopped with some weird chemical that smelled funny and the smell never went away. Just overall lack of care and inability to pay attention to details and customer care/quality.
