Slieve Donard Hotel and Spa

What can I say about this amazing place? This hotel is beyond what I could have asked for. My room was comfortable, spacious, and quaint. The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. The best part is Richard, the hotel manager. He is very hands-on and is always available to answer any questions and offer helpful advice to enhance your stay. Plus, his wonderful pups greet you when you arrive. I can not recommend this hotel enough. Do yourself a favor and book a room today.

Booked stay with partner to celebrate a private event! Hotel staff really outperformed themselves. Food and drink were absolutely fantastic. Rooms very presentable and extremely comfortable! Just a few touches of paintwork and some minor DIY needed, but cannot recommend a stay here more! It really helped us to relax and the spa access is a fantastic touch!

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The room was a really good size but very limited storage - just a wardrobe, no drawers at all. As is often the case the room was dimly lit. There was a full length mirror though which was good. The bed was really comfortable and we slept really well Food at the Percy French was good for the price. Lounging areas are lovely and the staff are really attentive. Breakfast is buffet style which was a surprise at a 5 star establishment. Tea and coffee were not served without a reminder on both mornings of our stay and the waiting staff seemed very young and inexperienced. The breakfast wasn't replenished quickly enough - no mushrooms and then when they were replaced, no beans. Overall however it's a lovely place and we had a really relaxing couple of days but its not quite up to us 5 star rating
