The room itself looked clean and tidy. However, the inside of the pillow cover was moldy, and the Wi-Fi was not working. Internet connection is very important to me, but I was notified several hours before check-in that the Wi-Fi would not be available, and They told that there was nothing they could do about it. As a result, I had to use my own mobile data at an additional cost. I did not receive any reply to the inquiry email I sent regarding this issue; instead, I only received emails about check-in and check-out information, which seemed to be automated messages from their system. It did not seem like the staff were personally handling the issues. The room condition and location were fine, but it seemed that they did not pay attention to the minor details. If these aspects are improved, it could become one of the better accommodations in Brussels.

The rooms were clean though the bathroom smelled musty the entire time we were there. The WiFi didn’t work. Even after we reported it to Smartflats, they did not fix it even though they said they’d work on it. The location is rather inconvenient. I’d recommend looking elsewhere even if you’re on a budget.

Do not book! We booked through expedia, the hotel did not provide check in information and won't give refund claiming we canceled the reservation! We were forced to look for a different hotel late at night.
