Smartflats Saint Gery

The accommodation was newly furnished a few years ago - the advertising photos no longer correspond to the current state. Since then, apparently, no repairs in the flat have been made. And the elevator in the seven-story building also does not work. 1. Elevator defect (our flat was on the 6th floor!) 2. Two struts/stilts of the sleeping couch were broken and insufficiently fixed with hose ties. 3. A curtain was partly torn down. 4. The shower holder was broken and amateurishly fixed with cable ties. 5. The bathroom door could not be closed (it speared on the upper door frame). 6. The faucet was heavily calcified. 7, The sleeping sofa was covered with nasty stains. The matress below, too. 8. And the guide book in the room was absolutely disgusting - renewing it would be totally easy. Repairs should definitely be done immediately. Instead, a discount was offered only for a NEXT booking. This does not solve the problems and does not create satisfaction for the current situation. Superficial friendliness, complaints are answered with meaningless appeasements, but the problems are not solved.

AVOID IT!!! Broken elevator. Construction outside on the huge building outside so incredibly loud noise starts from 6AM. Seems like it’ll be going for years. Locals use it like a party house. Music going all night. Terrible service from the staff who couldn’t care less. They have properties all over Brussels so they don’t care

Complete DUMP. came here for work and was shocked 😳. On the surface things appear to be clean but without much effort you find what a dump this place is. Hair (not mine) everywhere, crumbs everywhere. Towels smell like dishcloths that have been well used. No soap in the bathrooms and toilet and tv were not terribly functional. I think this is actually one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Reminiscent of a youth hostel that’s been converted and badly maintained. I complained and Someone came and and simply removed the hair clump in the bathroom.
