Smith & Western Tunbridge Wells

Have been meaning to come here for a while. Good sized car park. Warm welcome from the staff when entering , booking system prompt and taken to the table straight away. Not bad for a Saturday night at 19:30. Food was served quick and hot and accurate. Staff were attentive and interacted with my children. Overall food was good obviously the chain restaurant standard. Price was fair too. Overall a good 1st visit so will be back. Definitely worth trying. If there was one gripe, music is a tad to high to have discussion about food with children without raising your voice.

What a fantastic find. Smith & Western is now our go to restaurant, and even though we live over 20 miles away it's worth every minute of the travel time. With over 15 visits here this year alone we have not had a single disappointment. Great food, great service and an equally great atmosphere. All of the servers are exceptional but our go to is Dan, now he's a real character!!! If you've never had the pleasure of S&W then you're really missing out. We spent two nights here for a wedding and had a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was the perfect location for the wedding we were attending at High Rocks. The coffee machine in the room was a nice addition. On our first night we had dinner in the restaurant which was nice enough. Food was only ok but as expected for this sort of chain. Only real complaint was that the music was extremely loud during dinner and could also be heard from our room, but this did stop by around 10:30pm. We also had breakfast included in our stay which we enjoyed both days.
