We stayed in Deluxe King size bedroom. It has a nice bathroom with shower and the room is quite spacious. They have everyday cleaning and in general they offered very good service. The receptionist was very kind and helpful on whatever we asked for. We would definitely come back.
Booked a suite with Balcony Very dirty shower with hair from previous guests, Smelled like sewer as we basically staying in the revamped basement which didn’t have a balcony with any view but just an opening, Outside tables very dirty couldn’t sit at the table, No refills on soap dispensers at all, Towels smelled musty too
I recently had the misfortune of staying at the "Snog Rooms & Suites Hotel," and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. This place could easily win an award for the worst hotel experience ever. From the moment we stepped into the room, it felt like we were entering a prison cell rather than a hotel room. First of all, the room was beyond tiny. I've stayed in closets bigger than this so-called "accommodation." And don't even get me started on the ceiling height! I'm not an NBA player, neither my family but even we had to crouch just to avoid banging our heads on the ceiling. Claustrophobia, anyone? Apparently, the room was built on the roof, that's why the ceiling was so short. As soon as you step out of the room's door, there are very steep stairs, which my wife and my kid tripped on, putting them at risk of a serious injury. Definitely, the room does not like the advertised room pictures at all. To add insult to injury, the hotel owner had the audacity to have a terrible attitude. He and his staff seemed completely uninterested in providing any sort of service and barely acknowledged our presence. It's almost like they were doing us a favor by letting us stay there. The lack of hospitality was appalling and left a sour taste in our mouths. Now, let's talk about the sofa bed. If you can even call it that. It was nothing more than a glorified sofa, and not a comfortable one at that. It also has a Sleeping on it was like sleeping on a pile of rocks. Moreover, there was a sharp metal sticking out of the sofa, which injured me when I tried to sleep on it. I woke up every morning feeling like I'd been run over by a truck. Do yourself a favor and bring a sleeping bag; it might be more comfortable than the so-called "bed" they provide. And as if things couldn't get any worse, there was no housekeeping service during our entire stay. We returned to our room each day to find it in the same sorry state we left it. The trash cans were overflowing, the towels were damp and crumpled in a corner, and the bed linens looked like they hadn't been changed in weeks. It was revolting and completely unacceptable. Moreover, during our stay, we approached the hotel receptionist and requested if we could leave our luggage for a few hours after check-out. He readily agreed without any issues. On the following day, we made the same request, and once again, he confirmed it with no problems. However, upon checking out, we were taken aback when the owner denied our previous arrangement and demanded an additional 50 euros to store our luggage for a few hours. Despite our willingness to pay the extra amount to avoid disrupting our day, he suddenly raised the price to 100 euros. Feeling uneasy about this sudden change, I expressed my dissatisfaction, but he insisted that if we didn't agree to the new price, we would have to leave the hotel immediately, even threatening to force us out onto the street. This situation was entirely unacceptable and left us feeling deeply dissatisfied with our experience at the hotel. The inconsistent information provided by the staff and the last-minute price increase felt unfair and disrespectful. Furthermore, it completely disrupted our plan for the day. Consequently, we had to head straight to the airport, resulting in the loss of the money we had already paid to reserve a taxi to take us there. We expected better customer service and honesty during our stay. To sum it up, the Snog Rooms & Suites Hotel is a disgrace to the hospitality industry. Their tiny rooms, short ceilings, terrible owner attitude, and lack of service make it a place to avoid at all costs. Save your money and sanity and find a hotel that actually cares about its guests. This place is an absolute nightmare, and I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy.
