SO Berlin Das Stue

My stay at SO/ Berlin was truly enjoyable in every way. The hotel is modern, well-designed, and above all, spotlessly clean – something I really appreciated. The room I was assigned was spacious, featuring both a shower and a bathtub, as well as a balcony, which made the stay even more comfortable. Breakfast was excellent: varied, plentiful, and the perfect way to start the day. But the real highlight was the staff – everyone was extremely kind, welcoming, and professional. A special thank you goes to Mattia, who welcomed us warmly and provided all the detailed information we needed to get around the city. His attentiveness and helpfulness really made a difference. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and high-quality stay in the heart of Berlin. I’ll definitely be coming back!

From a warmly welcoming check-in experience (the staff seem very familiar with the zombie-like state of travelers arriving off a red-eye transatlantic flight) to a flawlessly adaptable and welcoming staff at the bar, restaurant, and front desk - SO Berlin Das Stue exists as a beacon of calm and rest. The neighborhood is quiet but only a few minutes walk from shopping, restaurants, and of course the zoo and immense nature preserve of the Tiergarten. The rooms are plush and precisely modern enough to feel special while never feeling cold and alienating. Despite my sleep schedule, I was able to access hotel services at convenient times and the staff were universally friendly but respectfully on assuming. Would absolutely go back!

Enjoyed the stay at here. Right next to the zoo with a private entrance if you want to walk around. Good sized rooms with a nice view over the zoo on the top floor. Service was great. Breakfast was very good. Bit of a distance from the rest of the city, but it's possible to walk to some of the sights and Ubers are plentiful. Views in photos from room 515.
