SO Kings Cross Hotel

Which hotel do you need for a short trip to London? It should be clean, have a good shower, a comfortable bed and functioning heating/air conditioning - that's what you get here. You also get courteous, very friendly staff and that's it. But you also get very small rooms with no storage space. My room - I got a "bigger" one for no extra charge, which might be because I'm carrying a few kilos - seemed to have been renovated not too long ago. It was very clean, had a good bed, a small bathroom with a nice shower. The hot water was there straight away and came from a rain shower or the normal shower head. I was greeted by a kettle with tea bags and a bottle of water. The bed had a firm but comfortable mattress. I slept very well and didn't notice any noise from other rooms.

Incredible location! We booked the cheapest room and it was absolutely tiny but that's okay if just staying for one night. Service was really good, receptionist was so polite

Was a very good stay, the room was big enough for my needs, mainly somewhere to rest before the next trip out, only a few hundred yards from King's Cross so easy access for trains and underground. The facilities in the room were great, full enquire, large screen TV and air conditioning also the complimentary tea and coffee. A lot of different places nearby for food and drink so you won't get bored.
