Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort

We had an amazing stay at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua. The resort is stunning, beautifully maintained, and right on a gorgeous stretch of beach. The suite was spacious and very comfortable, and the facilities from the pool to the restaurants were outstanding. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Love the club lounge. Every detail made our holiday relaxing and memorable. Highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Bali and we can’t wait to come back!

We had a truly fantastic dinner. Everything was so well done, and the staff was incredibly attentive. We were served by Marsi, who was exceptionally accommodating and attentive to our every need. The setting is absolutely beautiful. We dined under a gorgeous tree, surrounded by lush greenery and a stunning view of the beach. The atmosphere was enhanced by great live music. The food was also outstanding. We particularly enjoyed the mixed grill, which was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. We can't wait to come back!

Totally changing my review. Initially I was frustrated by some problems with my room and the speed of service, but after speaking with management team, they really jumped into action to make things right for us. It is a beautiful resort and the staff are all eager to please. I will say that during our one week stay in mid-August that the main pool area was completely overrun by children. Even the swim up bar had kids bumping into us. It does seem to be a great place for families with young kids. If, like us, you prefer to get away from the kids, the beach is nice, but get there early as there is limited seating. Also the Manarai Beach Club adjacent to Sofitel is very nice and not as crowded. It has nice pool, swim up bar, restaurant and daybeds. Didn’t notice any kids there, but I think you have to buy a membership to use the pool. Not sure about that. Sofitel rooms are starting to show their age. I would not classify it as 5-stat, but it is a solid 4-star. Food was decent. The Sunday brunch was really good, definitely worth the price.
