Sofitel Beijing Central

I'm a person sensitive to smoking odor and was first given a room with some of it. I spoke to the front desk and manager Tong He changed it immediately for me. They also checked with me how the new room is and made sure I was taken care of. The hotel is generally better than Marriott five star ones, and it's pool is good for swimming session. There is a mall just nearby and I recommend to eat out there. There is some distance to embassy district but ride hailing is cheap there and I usually just call one by Wechat or Gaode map app. Or you can just take subway to avoid traffic.

It's very good location. It's located near convenience stores and restaurants. Room is so clean and best neat. Even staffs don't speak english fluently but they are service-minded.

This is not 5 stars hotel to me. The staff barely speak English. Electric curtain in guest room doesn't work properly. You need skill to get the right temperature for water in shower room. However, their location is good as it's not so far from the train station.
