The Sofitel staff were always so friendly, warm and accommodating. Buffet breakfast very tasty. Couldn’t recommend a stay here more! Recoleta is also the perfect neighbourhood to stay in and explore Buenos Aires. Plenty of restaurants, bars and other amenities nearby. Thank you!
The Sofitel Recoleta enjoys a prime location in the heart of Recoleta, Buenos Aires, and stands as a large, well-known hotel. However, the property is showing its age—something that took me by surprise. The furniture, carpeting (still present in the rooms), and even the towels all feel dated and in need of renovation. That said, Sofitel’s reputation for excellent breakfasts holds true here, and the quality of the service remains a standout. Staff were consistently attentive and professional, which added a welcome touch to the overall experience.
The hotel is very old. The furniture is old. It is impossible to get through to the reception. They did not help with the luggage when checking out. The breakfasts are average. Only the location of the hotel can be the reason to stay here. It is definitely not five stars. I think even less than four stars
