Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach

We had a fantastic stay at Sofitel! The service was outstanding, the rooms were stylish and cozy, and the staff was very attentive. A special thanks to Tirtha for the impeccable housekeeping — everything was always spotless, fresh, and neatly arranged. It was such a pleasure to come back to a perfectly clean room every day. The hotel is in a great location, breakfast was delicious and varied, and the overall atmosphere was simply luxurious. We will definitely come back and highly recommend Sofitel to anyone who values comfort and high-quality service!

Decent Room and Housekeeping, But Disappointing Dining Experience I’ve stayed at several Sofitel properties, and unfortunately, this one felt quite average compared to others. Room & Housekeeping: The room was good and the housekeeping team did a nice job keeping everything clean and tidy. However, I didn’t appreciate the pressure for a 5-star Google review. One of the housekeeping staff repeatedly asked me to leave a review—it felt forced and uncomfortable. I don’t believe in giving high ratings just because someone insists on it. Restaurant & Service: The restaurant experience was disappointing. During breakfast, I was literally still chewing my food when a server came and asked if she could clear the plate. When I said I was still eating, she casually replied, “We need to prepare for more people.” It felt rushed and disrespectful. We also requested curd rice for our toddler—something simple and common in most places. Despite having an Asian breakfast offering, they outright refused, saying the chef wouldn’t do it. Even when I offered to pay, the answer was still no. Basic flexibility and courtesy were completely missing. Play Area: Very small and unimpressive. If you’re traveling with kids, especially at this price point, you might want to consider other options with better family-friendly facilities. Other Notes: They even charge separately for a bubble bath soap, which felt excessive for a hotel in this category. Overall, while the room and housekeeping were satisfactory, the lack of service mindset in the restaurant and poor hospitality elsewhere made it a below-average Sofitel experience for me
