I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich Hotel is located in pretty good are, you can reach every where in few minutes drive, I booked 1 rooms 30th to 31st July2025 upgraded my rooms as a Diamond member I must say it was a truly enjoyable experience. As a Diamond member Hotel Staff warmly welcome me, all the staff at club lounge take care of me for this whole stay, The room were impeccably maintained and offered all the necessary amenities. I loved this experience,all the staff at lounge was very helpful and supportive Breakfast was great and lots of food verity and taste was really good, one of the best breakfast 🥞 in China All the staff at breakfast area was very very helpful 10/10 The service was top-notch. The staff were courteous, efficient, and always willing to lend a helping hand. I enjoyed the swimming pool and all other facilities Thanks to all staff , who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was seamless and enjoyable.they are very professional and supportive. I requested for late check out 5PM and they accepted immediately again thanks Check out was great 👍 and easy just in 1 minute Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient stay. My experience at Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and professionalism. The ambiance was elegant, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the service throughout my stay was outstanding. Julian and her team was attentive, courteous, and eager to assist. The food was delicious and timely delivered. Thank you for making my stay both relaxing and memorable.

The hotel features attractive interior design throughout the common areas and guest rooms, with a prominent use of vibrant red tones, which adds a pleasing touch. However, certain facilities, such as the swimming pool and gymnasium, are in need of refurbishment and renovation. Our room was clean and comfortable, and included a nice bathtub. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, although the quality of the food was average. The food ordered through room service was of good quality; however, the ordering process was highly inconvenient, as the application used for ordering was predominantly in Chinese. Only the name of the dishes appeared in English, while the remainder of the ordering and confirmation process was entirely in Chinese. The staff members spoke very limited English but made genuine efforts to assist using translation applications. In terms of location, the hotel was disappointing. It is not within walking distance of the exhibition centre or any major attractions. We did not find the location convenient or enjoyable. Furthermore, the city view from our room was not appealing. Given that most visitors travel to Guangzhou for the Canton Fair, it is worth noting that there are other five-star hotels located near the exhibition centre that offer superior views and facilities. I would also highly recommend ensuring that you have a reliable VPN, a Chinese e-SIM (preferably providing both a number and data), and access to Chinese payment platforms as well as the Didi application prior to arriving in China.
