The doorman greeted me warmly, setting the tone for what turned out to be a genuinely enjoyable and relaxing stay. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, exactly what you hope for in a luxury hotel. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered, and the comfort level was top-tier. One standout feature was the gym. Not only was it spotless and fresh, but it was also well-equipped, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that personal trainers were available a rare and appreciated touch that adds real value for fitness-minded guests. Service throughout the hotel was consistently excellent. Turndown service was prompt and well-done, and every interaction with staff was friendly, efficient, and professional. The food was fantastic, both in terms of quality and variety, and really enhanced the stay. A special mention must go to the lady working at the lounge, who was exceptionally kind and welcoming. Her attention to detail and warm demeanor made the lounge experience feel personalized and relaxing. The only minor downside is the location, which is a bit far from West Lake and Lingyin Temple, but it’s a small trade-off for the quiet, well-maintained environment and superb service you get in return. Overall, Sofitel Hangzhou Yingguan truly impressed me. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a refined and restful stay in Hangzhou.

The room was well-designed, spacious, with thoughtful facilities e.p having a separate locker area was especially useful, and the inclusion of a yoga mat was a lovely touch, even though I didn’t have time to use it. The furniture and lighting were beautiful, and the staff were kind. The blackout curtain worked perfectly, allowing for a great night’s sleep.
