Sofitel Harbin

I had a wonderful experience over at Sofitel Wanda harbin. It is just located beside a mall with supernarket. Less than a minute walk. I was assisted by Bella during check-in and she helped me by doing a room change due to the weather change which causes the room to be warm. She made the whole process almost smooth with no error. I appreciate her patience and explanation during the process. But there was a staff named Victoria who was unfriendly and didnt bother to assist us. She seems like a snob and her attitude was soo bad that my relatives were upset with her. Another person to mention was Alice from the executive lounge. Very helpful and polite individual that made our holiday amazing! What made this hotel great was the staff. As i was travelling with two elderly with limited mobility, they offered many assistance and small little action that captured our heart. A big thank you to all of you and will definitely return soon! A big shout to Rachel who assisted me on an item that left in the hotel and making delivery to my next destination hotel!

location surely good : some restaurants in the area , shops and a mall , coffee . reasonable distan e to the exhibition center . room good and comfortable some elegance . breakfast good .

I was scammed twice. One by the concierge when he overcharged for a parcel to be send somewhere. I insisted on a receipt form the courier company when he produced the receipt knowing he was busted he gave me a refund of the difference. The second scam was wile waiting for delivery of some dumpling I was told by the staff to wait in the downstairs restaurant. Suddenly food started appearing at the table that I didn’t order. They were hovering around and taking photos and be gesturing me to eat it. I ate it thinking the two dishes were complimentary. My takeaway dumplings came so I went to my room. On checking out I was charged Y200 for the experience. The rooms are very tired. The toilet could use a good clean. The first night the restaurant was closed AG 7:00 pm. S ok they get two stars because the reception staff were polite and the location is good.
