Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Aswan

We were only here one day in celebration of our anniversary prior to a Nile River cruise. The entire grounds are simply magnificent and the view from the room was one of the best we’ve had anywhere in the world. The people were warm and caring, and we felt Amazing everywhere we went. We ate in the 1902 restaurant for dinner and the food was exquisite. Although we are here in the low season without a lot of other guests, we were treated exceptionally well, and every need was attended to. I believe we were waited by the hostess Miriam and Samah. The recommendation for the local fish was excellent and probably one of the best meals we have had in our trip thus far in seven days. I would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant. We did also have high tea and lunch earlier in the day on the terrace and the views are amazing. It is truly a special place and one that needs to be seen. I highly recommend you make time to stay in this lovely hotel if you’re in this part of Egypt, it is well worth the effort

I am sitting in my room, it’s two hours before checkout and I do NOT want to leave. This place is amazing. Picturesque views, Extremely friendly staff and great facilities. I have tried to be critical but I cannot find anything to complain about - room spotlessly clean. This hotel is the business, we have had all our needs attentively looked after Thank you

We had a wonderful experience during our recent stay. The hotel environment is lovely – well-maintained, quiet, and offers a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was excellent: spacious, impeccably clean, with great amenities and a very comfortable bed. The real highlight, though, was the exceptional staff. We were particularly impressed by **Marvel and Agnes**. From the moment we arrived, they provided truly outstanding service.
