I recently completed a long-term stay at your property from 15th May to 12th June, and while there were some positive aspects, a number of issues remained unresolved that I feel compelled to share — especially given my status as an Accor Gold member and the length of my stay. Positives Let me begin by acknowledging that the check-in process was smooth, thanks to my team arriving a day earlier to facilitate the process. I also noticed a welcome improvement in the friendliness and attitude of the staff, which I greatly appreciate. Key Concerns & Unresolved Issues 1. Loyalty Points Not Yet Credited As of 14th June, I am yet to receive the points for my stay between 15th May and 12th June, which is disappointing. This delay affects my ability to redeem points for future stays and is not the experience one expects at a Sofitel. 2. Loyalty Privileges Overlooked At check-in, no welcome amenities (water, fruits, chocolates) were offered as per Gold-tier expectations. These only arrived two days later. Despite requesting a higher-floor room, no options or flexibility were offered at the time of allocation. It took 3–4 days for the team to apply my 20,000 Accor points toward the booking — a simple process that should’ve been confirmed swiftly. 3. F&B Experience is Outdated The breakfast menu has not changed in over 6 years, with zero innovation. Basic requests like cutting an orange from the buffet were met with reluctance. The bread selection feels dated, and there's a lack of local fruits like banana and mango. No natural yogurt options were available. On the beverages side, staff don’t know what a cold coffee or lemonade is. This reflects poorly on training and adaptability. Ice cream and simple desserts could easily be introduced to elevate the experience. 4. Room Conditions & Maintenance Visible seepage, stained cushions, and malfunctioning fridge and sockets indicate a need for urgent maintenance. Room cooling was subpar, and no pillow options were available, which matters during long stays. Even in a suite, fruits and basic condiments were absent — this is below Sofitel standards. 5. Fitness Centre & Wellness Area The gym is underwhelming: poor internet signal, no music, limited towels, no proper hydration station, no sanitiser, and missing yoga mats. I hope this feedback is taken in the spirit of continuous improvement. The Sofitel brand stands for elegance, comfort, and thoughtful hospitality — I genuinely hope to see these values better reflected in future stays.

Staying often in Sofitel, rooms are clean and big even with a great big balcony. Bathrooms are clean, however hot water from the tap is an issue. Still not a big deal in this hot weather. The biggest disaster is wifi in the hotel. Can't make calls at all. Internet is working on and off. This needs to be addressed ASAP. Therefore unfortunately only 3 Stars from me. Staff is neither rude or friendly, just no expression also not a big deal. All in all was not bad to stay. Once the above issues will get a bit improved 5 stars is not far away. Thanks for having us anyways.
