Excellent location in Avila. Easy to access by car. If you reserve parking in advance they ask for your licence plate and ensure you have access to the parking area. Hotel next to the wall is special and rooms very nice. Breakfast was high quality. Great hotel and location to explore Avila.

Oh, Sofraga Palacio! We miss you already. Arrived early for check-in and the nice gal with very good English held our luggage until the room was ready and also gave suggestions on sites to see. I wish I had gotten her name. She was the best! Room #207 looks out the front of the hotel and has a beautiful view of the cathedral! Our room was fantastic. Large comfortable bed, wonderful shower, full-sized towels (that are actually the size of your body), powerful hair dryer, mini fridge supplied with free waters daily, TV connects to your phone for streaming. Weekend breakfast includes an assortment of cold meats & cheeses, Spanish omelet, croissants, cereals and yogurt and also a menu of breakfast items (eggs, pancakes, etc). The avocado toast is five-star! The restaurant downstairs has a delicious menu. Get the lambchops! The room service arrives incredibly fast. Get the Tiramisu! We stayed at the presidential suite and it was just amazing. The room is huge, same as the bathtub in the actual room. Having the actual Walls as an exposed wall through the room and the hallways was so cool. Bed was so big and comfy (if you like firm like we do). We took advantage of the 10% at their restaurant as it is our favourite one in Ávila and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend for a stay, a meal, just a coffee or all of the above.
