Sofuan

This is a 5 star hotel in every respect. The care taken to get the details right is on display in every corner. The hotel is new and feels modern while having a traditional charm. Drinks are premium and free. We paid for the breakfast on our last day and found it tasty and convenient. We booked a room with a queen and a single and it was huge compared to other hotels on our Japan trip. The bathroom was clean and had a nice layout with separate little rooms for sink, toilet, and shower/large bath. Absolutely loved it and the price was very good!

The best hotel we stayed at in Japan. We stayed in a Japanese style room. Every detail is beautiful and thoughtfully designed from the material selection, room layout and amenities. Staff are warm and welcoming and the location is perfect. The value of what they provide for the price is exceptional. Highly recommended!

By far our favorite boutique hotel in Japan. We stayed 3 nights. The beds were very comfortable, not rock hard. There were lots of little perks like dango upon arrival (or next day in our case since we checked in after 7 pm.) They had bath soaking soaps to chose from and juices, coffee and tea to enjoy. At night they serve free udon noodles too. It rained while we were in town and the hotel had umbrellas for use, but across the street was a little shop owned by a sweet elderly couple that sold beautiful umbrellas so I bought two from them. When we went to leave the staff at the hotel gave us little gift satchel filled with treats that included a hand written note... too kind.
