Soho Playa Hotel

The room was nice but had some visible damage. The AC units work, the jacuzzi is nice but had one jet not working. The shower was leaking and cause a mess everyday. Was very close to the main strip and 15 minute walk from Walmart. really great atmosphere. There was construction going on the whole time we stayed and we were woken up at 8 am every day by banging.

Overall, a decent experience since I was able to sleep without noise and take shower during 4 nights. But the service was not acceptable. Room: While functional, the room had serious issues. There were cockroaches, I suffered mosquito bites every night, and the first-floor window couldn’t be locked. To make matters worse, the window was easily accessible due to a pole and a tree brushing against it, creating a significant security risk. However, the decoration of the lobby was remarkable, with beautiful frames and a waterfall that added a touch of elegance to the space. Service: When I reported that there were cockroaches in my room to the receptionist CARLA, she was lounging on the lobby's couch with her feet up, scrolling through her phone like she was a customer and not a staff member. Her attitude was shockingly unprofessional, showing complete indifference and negligence. She made no effort to address the problem and instead told me to speak to her boss. Location: Excellent, close to everything, yet quiet enough to rest.

Very bad experience, after a 12 hour drive booked a room 3 days with a jacuzzi that did not work for 2 days, smoke alarm beeping at night every 80 sec could not sleep, bathroom door would not open full width, put in complaint 4 times only jacuzzi fixed in end. Worst service worst room for price. Asked to refund down to a standard room refused, a complimentary $270mx taquilla put in room hate taquilla. BEWARE.
