Beautiful Resort with Private Beach – Perfect Getaway! I had an amazing stay at Sokha Beach Resort. The private beach is absolutely stunning – clean, quiet, and perfect for swimming. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always greeting with a smile. My room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful sea view. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices, both local and international. I especially loved the large swimming pool and the peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation in Sihanoukville!

The place is big, there's a pool if we walk down a little bit there will be a ocean that you can see. There is people playing music at night, the morning buffet is very good. The hotel price is affordable.

With my passion for beach towns, I decided to visit Sihanoukville, before leaving Cambodia. Here, I stayed at the Sokha Beach Resort. Compared to its Siem Reap counterpart, This is a larger resort, with a bigger lounge and lobby area. The menu is also more extensive with several additional choices. There is a Jasmine spa here too, but its menu offerings are more comprehensive in all the treatment areas. And believe it. Or Not. I had Five separate treatments and therefore spent almost 5 full hours there. Here, the concierge service was disappointing. They do very bad dinner recommendations for the town…probably because that is where they get a commission. So one has to be careful and do your own homework to find a worthwhile place to dine. I had experienced a similar situation a few days back in Vietnam when the front desk manager put down my recommendations and pushed hers. Which also turned out to be a disappointment. So I suppose the rule of thumb is …I should believe in my extensive homework and run with it….because most, if not all of the time, my selections turn out to be a roaring success.
