Sol An Bang Beach Resort & Spa

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The staff were helpful and nothing was ever too much. We had an issue with a leaking aircon and a Broken lock on the sliding door and both were fixed quickly with no fuss. They even made us breakfast for our early check out. The rooms were clean and spacious. The grounds and the beach were tranquil which was much needed after a busy week of travel. Breakfast was excellent and the coconut and salt coffees were amazing. Only a short taxi trip into the old town for shopping and dinners. Will definitely be back!

A Peaceful Oceanfront Escape with Ideal Location Sol An Bang Resort is a hidden gem right on the beach. The location is stunning—calm waves, a sandy beach with a gentle sandbar that makes swimming a joy for all ages. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind. The rooms are tastefully designed and well-equipped, offering a great balance of comfort and style. What really sets this resort apart, though, is the staff. Every team member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Another big plus: Hoi An’s charming Old Town is just a 10–15 minute ride away via Grab taxi, making it both convenient and affordable to explore the UNESCO-listed streets, nightly lantern-lit riverside, and local markets.

The staff in reception were friendly but professional. They got the balance right. The men who helped with the bags are fabulous and do a great job as ambassadors for the hotel. Cam on. The room was nice and had all the facilities described with a large comfy bed. The quality of the toiletries provided was exceptional. The pools were really lovely, too. We spent most of our time on the beach. They do rent the beach beds out to non residents, which we thought was a bit remiss because there are not many beds. We recommend walking to An Bang for your evening meals as the restaurants near to the hotel are very average and lack any soul. The hotel offers free bicycles, which was nice for half a day. We got a Grab to go and visit marble mountains early one day to avoid the crowds... that was a great trip. The gym was OK. Breakfast was OK. If I'm honest, the Western options were better prepared than the Vietnamese! This hasn't been the case at other hotels. We ordered bahn mi lunch one day, and it really wasn't good. Happy hour at the beach bar offers reasonable value. This isn't in An Bang itself. You need to be prepared to walk 15 minutes or so if that's where you want to eat. Nice quiet place for the area
