We’ve just returned from a fantastic family break at Sol Nessebar Palace, and I have to say it’s an excellent choice for families with children. There are three separate kids’ clubs for different age groups, each with their own dedicated program and animation team. Our kids loved it — there was always something going on to keep them entertained. Dining options are plentiful. The main buffet offers a wide variety of food, but what really stood out were the additional themed restaurants. As Palace guests, we could book into the Chinese Hot-Pot restaurant and the Italian buffet restaurant — both absolutely worth a visit. My tip: book these as soon as you arrive. We booked on Tuesday and, even in midweek, the next available slots were Thursday and Friday (though we were a group of nine, so that may have limited availability). The pool area was another highlight. The water was a lovely temperature, the size meant it never felt overcrowded, and the design worked well for all swimming abilities. At its deepest (1.5m) under the bridge, it still offered shallower areas at each end — one of which was partially fenced off for younger swimmers. The food and drink selection around the resort was excellent. Aside from the main buffet, you could grab burgers, bratwurst, fish & chips, or pizza from various pop-up spots dotted around the complex. Palace guests also get access to some premium drink options that neighbouring Sol Nessebar Bay and Sol Nessebar Mare guests don’t. Evenings were lively, with the animation team delivering solid nightly performances and live singers occasionally appearing on the bar terrace — a lovely way to round off the day. If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the gym. While it’s great that there’s a fitness facility, a lot of the equipment was either out of order, very worn, or mismatched. Dumbbells were hard to pair, and much of the cardio kit could do with some maintenance. Overall, Sol Nessebar Palace offers an excellent balance of relaxation, entertainment, and variety for all ages. If you’re travelling as a family — especially with young children — it’s a winner.
Our first time visit to the region. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice size, clean room with balcony looking towards the pool. Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner was of a very good standard. The on-site water slides were fantastic and queues were never too bad. The beach access was a nice bonus and we always got sunbeds down there. I have knocked a star off for the alcoholic drinks. They ALL come out of a single machine. Was very disappointed. Something the owners should really look into. Overall though, a very nice holiday.
During my recent road trip from Zurich, I had the pleasure of staying at Sol Nessebar Palace All Inclusive. The resort itself was impressive, offering excellent amenities, food, and service. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional support I received from the front desk staff. I had accidentally left behind a bag after checking out, and it wasn’t until later that I realized it was missing. Thankfully, a front desk team member named Jojo went above and beyond to assist me. He promptly arranged for the bag to be couriered to my friend’s residence in Bulgaria, handling the situation with professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care. It’s rare to find staff so committed to helping guests, especially in unexpected situations. I’m truly grateful for Jojo’s assistance and would highly recommend Sol Nessebar Palace — not only for its beautiful setting and services but also for the outstanding dedication of its team.
