Sol Tenerife

Room cleaned everyday, fresh towels and bedding. We had 2 plugs in our big bedroom. Plenty of room to separate the two single beds. Beautiful see views from block B. Night clubs not loud and couldn't hear a thing if balcony door closed. Breakfast was perfect wide choice of everything. Reception staff always helpful.

We just left Sol Tenerife after 10 nights, after seeing all the mixed reviews we were very cautions but I was actually pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by lovely staff and our room as actually ready early (1pm). We were asked if we would prefer a higher floor to cancel the noise which we opted for. On entering our room which was situated in Block B, it was noticeably spotless. I have no complaints about the cleanliness. Although we did come across quite a few ants and cockroaches, it was not a big deal, fresh towels everyday and beds changed every second day. We had breakfast included, which was OK, your typical buffet breakfast, nothing special. We were staying on the 10th floor overlooking Veronica’s Strip and although it could be loud at night time into the early hours of the morning it was not much of an issue for us. Overall we had a pleasant stay at Sol Tenerife. 1 major issue to note especially to families thinking of coming out here to this hotel, the lifeguards are no way fit for their job, they sit in a hut all day on their phones. We witnessed an emergency in the pool and the lifeguard did not even know how to do CPR. Just be very wary of this especially if you are bringing kids.

Had a good stay here! Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were standard, we booked a double bed but had two singles pushed together. Was very noisy at night until around 5am, however we took earplugs and slept fine with these in. Overall cleanliness was fine! Breakfast was good, large selection and tasted fresh. Dinner wasn’t great- mostly fish options. Even the pizza had fish on. Could do with more variety and didn’t taste as fresh. Pools were good- not too cold and managed to get sun loungers easily. Good location especially if you’re looking to party however probably not great for families due to the noise. I felt safe during my stay- however i did see police escorting people out multiple times. I asked reception for a clean towel and they told me there would be an additional charge, also an additional charge to use the safes in the room. Overall good- but wouldn’t stay here again.
