I spent a weekend at Solana Beach, and I must say it was one of the best resort experiences I've ever had. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade — a truly delightful gesture. The room was breathtaking, offering a stunning sea view. It was clean, cozy, and spacious, complete with thoughtful amenities, including tea, coffee, and a coffee machine. The food was delicious, although the dessert selection could be more varied. I wasn't particularly impressed with the drinks — while the cocktails were beautifully presented, they lacked balance and flavor, coming across as flat and uninspired. I believe there's room for improvement in this area. That said, the service was exceptional. The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly kind, which made the stay even more enjoyable. All in all, it was a wonderful stay at Solana Beach. I highly recommend it and would definitely consider returning in the future.

Everyone was so warm, always smiling, greeting us, and making sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The view from our room was absolutely stunning, with the beach just a few steps away and breathtaking sunsets each evening. The beach house staff were especially helpful, taking the time to explain everything in detail and ensuring we had the best experience possible. The food was another highlight—plenty of variety and delicious options every day. We also appreciated the great cultural educators who shared insights into local traditions and cuisine, even giving us tips on how to integrate with locals and foods to try outside the hotel. There were so many fun and engaging activities to choose from, like bike rides, henna art, and fantastic night entertainment that encouraged everyone to get involved and dance. It created such a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere. Solana Beach Hotel is more than just a place to stay—it's a place to connect, relax, and truly enjoy the Mauritian spirit. Highly recommended!

He organized a beautiful beach breakfast on the day of my daughter’s birthday that absolutely blew us away! We were so happy to see that he has implemented such a thoughtful and diverse program of activities — there was truly something for everyone! We especially loved the cocktail-making sessions (fun, interactive, and delicious!), the sunrise yoga classes that left us feeling refreshed and centered, Sunset Tai Chi and the cooking lessons, which were both informative and a great way to connect with other guests. The team went above and beyond to make each activity engaging and memorable, always with smiles, professionalism, and a genuine passion for what they do. It’s rare to find an entertainment team so well-organized, creative, and attentive — Chris clearly leads with heart and excellence.
