Fantastic place to stay in Madeira. House is located in the center of the island, so everything is close. Nearby there is a shop and a restaurant with good and inexpensive food. Room with bathroom very clean - cleaned every day. Living room available to everyone and well-equipped kitchen: stove, toaster, coffee maker, oven and fridge. I recommend the breakfast option - you definitely won't leave hungry in the morning 😉 In the living room, on a tray there is a delicious Madeira wine waiting for you - for a good night's sleep 😁 And it's all thanks to the wonderful owner, Mrs. Helena. Helpful, caring and open to others. If I ever come to Madeira again, I will definitely stay here again.

Elena it's a very kind and available person. The house it's always clean and full of anything you need for a trip. The view of the mountains and the garden are beautiful. I stayed for 5 nights and it was a beautiful experience.

Our recent stay at Solar do Carvalho proved to be a tranquil getaway. We selected a ground-floor room with a double bed, providing a snug retreat. The room, generously proportioned and impeccably kept, set a soothing atmosphere. The daily housekeeping ensured a consistently high standard of cleanliness. The central location was a definite asset, affording swift access to every corner of the island within an hour's drive, thereby simplifying our exploration of Madeira's natural marvels. It is worth noting that a car is indispensable for reaching this location. The communal kitchen, while convenient, may necessitate some coordination with fellow guests due to the multiple-room layout. However, this minor inconvenience did not overshadow the overall positive experience. Furthermore, while breakfast offerings were modest, they proved to be ample for our requirements. The most noticeable downside was the room's Wi-Fi connectivity, which was occasionally affected by its distance from the router. Yet, this encouraged us to disconnect and wholeheartedly immerse ourselves in the surroundings. In summary, our stay in Sao Vicente offered a memorable retreat. The blend of capacious rooms, assiduous housekeeping, and a strategically advantageous location ensured a comfortable and convenient visit. Despite minor considerations, this accommodation comes recommended for a serene stay in Madeira.
